Management Systems
L&T Rubber Processing Machinery is accredited with ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018- Occupational Health and Safety Management system.
Our QMS & EMS are designed to ensure that all quality & environmental performance requirements are recognized, controlled and maintained. We are extremely conscious about the environment and we can proudly say that our unit is a zero discharge unit.
Where we choose to outsource any process, by an external party for product realization, we maintain control over such process and the concerned supplier is evaluated prior to placement of Purchase Orders. The type and extent of control on the outsourced process is influenced by such factors as:
- The potential impact of the outsourced process on the organization's capability to provide product that conforms to specified requirements.
- The degree to which the control of the process is shared.
- The capability of achieving the necessary control through the application of clause 8.4 of ISO 9001:2015
Monitoring & Measurement
We have quarterly internal audits by trained auditors where the opportunities for improvement are continually assessed and the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of our Quality Management System is continually reviewed.
The findings of internal audits are taken up in the review meeting by top management, and results in decisions and actions related to:
- Improvement of the effectiveness of the quality & environmental management systems and their processes & activities.
- Improvement of product & services related to customer requirements pertaining to QMS, EMS and OHSMS.
- Resource needs.
We also have a module for reporting nonconformities on parts/sub-assemblies during Work-In-Progress addressed in a daily basis by our Quality Systems Insurance Group (QSIG), and regular Quality Review Meetings to analyze the trend of product non-conformities. Corrective & Preventive actions for the products NCs are then implemented.
